Q. How much does it cost to have Buyer Representation?
A. The fee is negotiable and depends on the needs of the Buyer.
Q. Who pays the fee?
A. We negotiate for the Seller to assist the Buyer with the Buyer’s acquisition expenses, including Solicitor’s fees and the Buyer Representation fee.
Q. How can I get Buyer Representation for free?
A. As stated above, we are going to structure your offer in such a way that the Seller will be asked to pay for some or all of your purchase expenses (at your direction), including your Solicitor’s fee and your Buyer Agent’s fee. When the negotiations are over, if the bottom line of the offer is acceptable to the Seller, you will have your Buyer Agent services for free!
Q. What happens if I find a home on my own?
A. If you find a home that you are interested in, please give us the address and any other info you have. We will find out more about the property and report back to you. If you would like to view the property we will arrange a viewing. If you want to make an offer on the property we will plan a negotiating strategy for you and proceed on your instructions. Believe it or not the actual finding of the property is the easiest part! The negotiating part and getting the property at a price and on terms that are acceptable to you, as well as getting to settlement, are far more challenging than finding the property itself. We assist you with all aspects of your home acquisition.
Q. What do other Sevenoaks Estate Agents think about Buyers having their own Buyer Agent?
A. Granted, it is fairly unusual for a buyer to have their own Buyer Agent to represent them in their home purchase in the UK. But Sevenoaks Estate Agents are not daft! Anything anyone can do to bring more Buyers their way, especially at no cost to them, is very much appreciated! SEVENOAKS PROPERTIES has created this website to attract and assist people buying homes in the Sevenoaks area. And after all, it’s only fair that both sides have equal representation. In addition, we pay a REFERRAL FEE to Estate Agents for referring buyers to us who purchase a property through us.
